Grow Your Own Food
At each Seedling Sale we will offer a range of seasonally suitable vegetable seedlings.
We love heirloom vegetables, highly productive varieties, quirky names, colourful options, the hottest to the mildest of chillies, sweet capsicums, juicy tomatoes and so much more!

Beautiful Seedlings
Each Seedling Sale we will have a variety of vegetable, herb and flower seedlings available. Each seed is hand sown, hand watered, and cared for daily.
Seedlings are hardened off before the sale days to ensure they are ready for you to plant at home.

Greens For All Seasons
Each Seedling Sale there will be an array of green vegetables available including lettuce varieties, brassicas, and leafy greens for a variety of cuisines.
Growing your own greens is one of the most cost effective ways to save money and add nutrients to your meals.
All varieties will be selected based on being suitable for seasonal growing conditions.

Herbs
Herbs are one of the simplest and greatest joys in the garden and we love finding the most delicious, aromatic, nutritious, and beautiful herbs for growing at home.
Each Seedling Sale we will have options suitable for growing in the garden or pots; whatever suits your needs.

Flowers For Pollinators
Attracting pollinators to the garden is essential to ensure good vegetable crops. It is recommended to have approximately 30% flowers grown alongside your vegetables.
We love choosing flowers to grow for all the reasons, but flowers that appeal to pollinators are extra special.

Flowers For Predators
Growing flowers that attract predators away from your vegetables is just as important as growing flowers to attract pollinators.
Sacrificing some nasturtium leaves is worth it to preserve your brassicas.
Flowers offer multiple uses, many being edible and suitable as cut flowers as well as warding off predators.

Flowers For Picking
Having flowers in the home has been shown to be good for our wellbeing. Gifting freshly picked, home grown flowers is an act of pure joy!
We have flower seedlings for all year round picking in a range of beautiful colours and heights. Varieties that enjoy regular picking are always a favourite. These include Zinnias, Cosmos, Calendulas, Dahlias, Everlasting Daisies, Poppies and more!
Whether you have a few pots, a small space or a full garden to grow in, we will have flower seedlings available for you to grow and be able to regularly cut for your own, home grown, vase of flowers.

Seedlings For Schools
We love supporting schools and not-for-profit groups that teach gardening skills and the importance of growing food to support people and the community.
If you have a school garden or community group garden beds in the Southern Highlands and would like a selection of vegetable, herb and flower seedlings donated to you, please send us an email to hello@thebrickworksfarmseedlings.com.au
We will be donating $1000 worth of seedlings amongst various schools and groups throughout the growing year.

Heirloom Varieties
Heirloom vegetables not only look wonderful, they preserve genetic diversity in the garden and food chain.
Heirloom varieties are grown for their flavour, adaptability, hardiness, beauty, quirkiness and productivity. By growing heirloom vegetables we preserve food cultures and celebrate the access we have to cuisines from around the world.
Melanie searches far and wide for the most interesting, unique and delicious heirloom varieties.
She has a long history of growing, cooking, preserving, eating, and sharing heirloom produce and has a wealth of knowledge for those interested.
Heirloom varieties allow people to tap into their cultural roots and prepare meals with the traditional flavours of their ancestors.
We hope you will consider adding an heirloom variety or two to your garden this year. We will have many options across our range of tomatoes, chillies, capsicums, melons, cucumbers, squash, pumpkins and more.

What To Look Forward To...
We have wonderful seeds ready to grow to keep your garden full of the most extraordinary vegetables, herbs and flowers this season.
We will have Tomatoes in all shapes, sizes, colours and heights; from micro to over 2m tall. From early season ripeners to late season varieties you can be eating home grown tomatoes for months on end.
Our Chilli and Capsicum selection has grown so you can find familiar favourites and new varieties to grow and cook with.
Zucchini, Cucumbers, Squash, Pumpkins, Melons and more will be available in the months they are suitable for planting. These plants are cold sensitive, so watch for a staggered release of varieties as they are ready to be planted.
The range of herbs we offer will keep expanding, including both culinary and medicinal, traditional and unusual varieties.
Your response to our range of flower seedlings has inspired us to diversify in both our colour range and selection, so you can look forward to an expanded collection.
